The visual language of a subway's wayfinding system brings an additional layer of design to a city's subway network. My goal was to celebrate this visual through the use of images and text in the feature. From the opener built upon fragments of wayfinding systems across the Porter cities mentioned in the text, to the use of Helvetica as the body copy—a departure from the standard—I aimed to build upon the feature's main thesis and further encourage readers to explore the visual languages of public spaces.
